Group Therapy
Group Therapy Rooted in Faith and Healing
At our practice, group therapy is more than just a treatment option—it’s a space where emotional healing and spiritual growth come together. Each group is grounded in clinical excellence and aligned with Catholic teaching, creating a compassionate, faith-affirming path toward healing.
We currently offer two therapy groups to meet the needs of those navigating intense emotions or deep loss:
A 24-week DBT Skills Group to build emotional regulation and resilience
A continuous Grief Support Group to process loss through the lens of faith
Whether you're seeking tools to manage overwhelm or a place to grieve in community, our groups offer structured support, practical skills, and a Christ-centered path to peace and connection.
You are not alone. These groups are here to meet you where you are—and walk with you toward hope and healing.
DBT Skills Group
Our Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Skills Group is a 24-week structured program designed to help you build emotional resilience and live with greater intentionality and peace. Grounded in evidence-based practice and open to integration with Catholic values, this group covers the four core DBT modules:
Mindfulness – Learn to stay grounded and present, even in moments of stress.
Emotion Regulation – Understand your emotions and gain tools to respond with balance.
Distress Tolerance – Build resilience and healthy coping strategies for crisis moments.
Interpersonal Effectiveness – Strengthen your communication skills and maintain healthy boundaries in relationships.
Each weekly session lasts 90 minutes, and participants will be provided with a DBT workbook and additional resourcesto support learning and growth between sessions.
This group is ideal for those struggling with intense emotions, anxiety, impulsivity, or relationship challenges—and who are seeking healing and stability in a supportive, faith-affirming environment.
Grief Support Group
Our Grief Support Group offers a safe and compassionate space to process the loss of a loved one. Whether your grief is recent or long-standing, this ongoing group is designed to meet you where you are—offering steady support as you navigate your healing journey.
In this group, you will:
Learn about the grief process and how it uniquely impacts mind, body, and spirit
Gain practical tools to manage the emotional, spiritual, and relational challenges of grief
Explore a faith-based perspective that invites God’s healing presence into your pain
You’ll receive support from both the therapist and fellow group members who understand the deep pain of loss. Together, we will face emotions like sadness, anger, guilt, and confusion—while also making room for hope, connection, and meaning.
This group honors the uniqueness of each person’s grief while offering a Christ-centered path toward healing and wholeness.
