My Doctor recommended Archangel Catholic Counseling for my severe anxiety and depression that I suffered with for three years. I was paralyzed by it. I did not want to go to counseling, but I am so glad that I did because it changed my life and in a shorter time that I could’ve ever imagined. The counselor helped me to understand why I was having anxiety and how I could overcome it through EMDR. I particularly was helped by the information he gave me to work on that led me step-by-step through a particular situation where I was full of anxiety at the beginning, and by the end of going through this paper, I realized that it was nothing. I spent a few months with the counselor and I am so forever grateful. Personally, I appreciated the fact that he could relate to me as a Catholic believer and would even pray with me. I am taking a pause right now, but know he is there willing to work with me again if needed again. I still have a little bit of anxiety, but now I have the tools to work through it and I am living a “normal” life. Thank you To Archangel Catholic Counseling. I am a new person again through Christ and with the help of my counselor.
I specifically sought out EMDR treatments to relieve a severe anxiety related to a very traumatic event in my life. I can say, without reservation, after 1 treatment the symptoms disappeared, and after several months have not returned. My husband and I reached out to Archangel Catholic. We were struggling with some marriage issues. We’ve been married for 52 yrs and it was important for us to have a truly authentic Catholic perspective in our counseling. Since meeting with our counselor we have come to be able to communicate more clearly to each other and be deal with our struggles in a much more positive way.
